Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Powder Plant Operative for a position in Kidderminster. The role involves manufacturing, assembling, and ensuring safe working conditions within a powder coating environment. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, able to follow instructions, and have experience in manufacturing. The pay is £12.60 per hour, and the role is not accessible via public transport.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Mature with a professional attitude necessary.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily activities as directed by Cell Leader.
- Manufacturing and assembling products according to approved methods.
- Ensure workstations and environment are safe and clean.
Skills
We have an excellent opportunity located in the heart of Kidderminster.
- Carry out daily activities as director by Cell Leader
- Manufacturing, producing, assembling and finishing products in accordance with approved methods of manufacture
- Working within a Powder coating environment
- Ensure work stations and environment is always in a fit for purpose state, meaning clean, safe and maintained
- Escalating equipment and facility faults to Cell Supervision
- Some roles in various departments may involve working with hazardous materials
- Responsible for own PPE and ensure own training is updated regularly
- Conducting tasks in line with standards, procedure and manuals, and taking personal responsibility to ensure processes are followed
- Self-motivated
- Able to work under pressure
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Mature and professional attitude necessary and ability to follow instructions
- Methodical and thorough approach
Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday / 7:30 - 2:30pm Friday
Pay: £12.60 per hour.
