Zusammenfassung
A healthcare provider in Liverpool seeks a Community Phlebotomist for a part-time locum role. You will be responsible for obtaining blood samples from patients at home and must have experience as a phlebotomist. This role requires a valid driving license, own vehicle, and competencies in venepuncture. Immediate start is possible, with working hours from Wednesday to Friday.

Community Phlebotomist — Ellesmere Port, Part-time locum. Dream Medical are working with the NHS Trust and require a Band 2 phlebotomist to start ASAP for 2 months initially within the Ellesmere Port community team. The role will be from Wednesday to Friday and the session times are 09:00 – 17:00.
- Your role will be to obtain blood samples from patients in the community in accordance with local policies and procedures.
- You will provide a safe blood collection service to patients in their own homes in accordance with infection control and governance guidelines adhering to lone worker policy.
- You will obtain venous or capillary blood samples from patients in accordance with trust guidelines in patient\'s own homes and label and/or bar code specimen bottles accurately, then place samples into appropriately labelled bottles and suitably package for transport to the relevant laboratory.
- You will conduct the procedure with proper regard to patient confidentiality and with an awareness of the patient\'s individual needs.
- You will be expected to record appropriate information in identified documentation in accordance with local procedures and Trust requirements.
- Community Phlebotomist experience
- Certificate of competency for Venepuncture
- Own Vehicle and driving licence
- Proof of immuisations
- References to cover last 3 years
