Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Coventry is seeking experienced and dedicated Consultant Neurosurgeons. This role focuses on general neurosurgical procedures, including spinal dissections and fusions. The successful candidates will conduct multiple clinics and manage patient care efficiently, contributing to high-quality services across various clinics and surgical lists daily.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 3-4 clinics or surgical lists per day, maintaining efficiency and quality of care.
• Manage a caseload of 18-20 patients per clinic/list, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
• Perform general neurosurgical procedures such as spinal dissections and fusions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and clinical governance activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with Trust policies.

Education

Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the Specialist Register

Must be substantive and Specialist Registered (SR)
