Job summary
A healthcare provider in Fairford is seeking a part-time Clinical Pharmacist for a 3-month contract. You'll work alongside GPs and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care through clinical pharmacy expertise, medication optimization, and safety. The role involves performing remote medication reviews, conducting clinical audits, and supporting patients with their medications. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor of Pharmacy and experience in patient-facing roles. The position offers a chance to contribute meaningfully in a supportive practice environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Must be a qualified independent prescriber or working towards it.
- Experience in handling common acute and long-term conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct remote medication reviews and manage long-term condition patients.
- Support patients in the use of their medications.
- Perform clinical audits and monitor prescribing against guidelines.
