Operations Manager - Engineering/Manufacturing

A trusted name and specialist in investment casting and machining, with a reputation for delivering excellence in complex, high precision components to demanding industries. We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Yeovil business and lead from the front and be part of a team shaping the companies\' future. (Site T/Over £15 million with ambitious growth plans, Headcount circa 80 employees)

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all manufacturing processes.
• Lead capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation to meet demanding aerospace customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices, and operational excellence.
• Manage budgets and deliver P&L accountability for a £15m turnover business.
• Develop, mentor, and motivate a skilled workforce to achieve business objectives.
• Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic growth and operational improvements.

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role within aerospace or a casting environment.
• Knowledge/experience of investment casting, complex casting, or comparable intricate processes - preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire at all levels.
• Demonstrable experience in capacity planning, production control, and P&L management.
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
