Job summary
A local authority legal team in Greater Manchester is looking for a Legal Officer to support pre-litigation work and civil litigation. The role requires a Law degree or equivalent and involves drafting high-quality legal documents and managing multiple cases. This position offers hybrid working, flexible hours, and competitive pay on a 3-month contract with potential for extension.

Education
Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a growing local authority based in Greater Manchester. They are looking for a Legal Officer to join their expanding legal team.
The role is on a hybrid basis and is on a 3 months contract with potential to extend.
PAYE (Inc.Hol) - 22.53 - 31.31 per hour
Umbrella - 25- 35 per hour
- Legal Officer/Paralegal to support with pre-litigation work and civil litigation
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, schedules, and correspondence
- Assist with costs management, billing, and file closure procedures
- Must have a Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
- Drafting Legal documents to a high-quality standard
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines
