Job Title: Corporate Legal Assistant

A progressive and well-regarded legal 500 law firm based in Altrincham is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their busy Corporate team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their legal career in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.

About the Role:

Working closely with experienced lawyers, you’ll provide key support across a broad range of corporate matters. Ideally, you'll have prior experience in corporate and/or intellectual property (IP) work, but strong candidates from other legal backgrounds will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with mergers, acquisitions, share sales, and corporate governance
• Drafting and formatting legal documents, including NDAs, board minutes, and shareholder agreements
• Supporting with due diligence exercises and transaction management
• Conducting legal research and preparing client-facing documentation
• Liaising with clients, Companies House, and third-party professionals
• File management and administrative support for the team

Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in corporate or IP
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines
• Confident using legal technology and Microsoft Office
• A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
