Job summary
A leading technical consultancy is seeking a Principal System Engineer for a 12-month contract in Edinburgh. The role involves working on Systems Architecture and Performance Modelling, requiring strong skills in digital signal processing and RF systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-sensor data fusion using MATLAB and must be eligible for security clearance. This position offers a pay rate of up to £70 per hour.
Qualifications
- Experience across the entire systems lifecycle, including Verification and Validation.
- Must be eligible to obtain SC level security clearance.
Responsibilities

- Work with Synthetic Environments.
- Utilize Performance Modelling techniques.
Skills
Principal System Engineer – Edinburgh (Onsite working)

- Have experience in Performance Modelling techniques
- Previous experience across entire systems lifecycle i.e Verification and Validation
- Have knowledge of System of Systems

- Experience using MATLAB for flight trial and data
- Experience with Real time data simulation/generation
- Be eligible to obtain SC level security clearance
