Senior Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab Team (NHS)
Job summary
A regional healthcare provider in Whitstable is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs and implement treatment plans. Applicants should have a qualification in Occupational Therapy and at least 2 years of relevant experience, especially with older patients. This position offers a salary range of £38,682 to £46,580 per year, pro rata.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years post-qualification experience including elderly care.
- Very good knowledge of physical conditions including rehabilitation and falls.
- Experience of working in the NHS system.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical, social and psychological needs.
- Supervise Band 5 staff and Therapy Assistants.
