The Manor Farm Nursery – Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare qualification at The Manor Farm Nursery.

The Manor Farm Nursery is a well-established facility with 27 qualified nursery nurses and managers who have over 30 years of childcare experience. The nursery focuses on outdoor learning and development within a safe environment on a large farmland plot and in a purpose-built barn conversion.

The nursery emphasizes helping children develop through play and outdoor activities.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Observing and supporting children’s learning and development, planning and implementing suitable activities.
• Being a key person for a small group of children.
• Supervising activities including mealtimes, nappy changing, and toileting.
• Planning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Requirements:

• Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential.
• Ability to obtain a clear DBS check.
• GCSEs A*-C in English and Maths, or equivalent (functional skills) are desirable but not essential.
• Understanding of safeguarding policies.

Qualities Required:

• Enthusiasm for working with children, love for outdoor activities, good work ethic, and passion for child safety and enjoyment.
• Good communication skills for liaising with parents and updating them on children’s progress.

Hours:

• The nursery operates from 07:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, all year round.
• The successful candidate will work between 30 to 40 hours per week with flexible shifts.
