A childcare organization in Leicester is seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee daily operations and support the Nursery Manager. Responsibilities include supervising staff and maintaining high care standards. Candidates must have at least one year of leadership experience and a Level 3 qualification. This position offers flexible shifts and a full-time commitment.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a leadership position.
- Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
- Flexible shifts between 7am - 6pm.
Responsabilités
- Deputise in the absence of the Manager and maintain the nursery diary.
- Support the Manager with supervising staff and completing peer observations.
- Ensure a high standard of care is maintained daily.

This position is for Paint Pots Day Nursery & Pre-school in Leicester LE9 3HG
- Deputising in the absence of the Manager (this does not have to be office based) and maintain the nursery diary.
- Have good time management to ensure that you are supporting the Manager with supervising staff, completing peer on peer observations, observing children, room spot checks, planning & assessment checks, keeping staff files in check and up to date, reviews, and official meetings.
- Keeping up to date with new policies and legislation and disseminating information to staff
- Ensuring a high standard of care is maintained daily (including condition of the environment
- Follow direction from Nursery Manager and support with daily routine cores e.g., cleaning and occasionally support with general admin jobs.
- Level 3 or above
- 1 years experience in leader position
- Full-time 40 hours
- Salary up for discussion
- Flexible shifts bewteen 7am - 6pm
