A leading motor sports team in Brackley is seeking an Engine Builder and Technician responsible for overseeing the assembly and performance testing of internal combustion engines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in engine repairs, strong diagnostic abilities, and effective communication skills. Teamwork and adherence to the company's values are essential. The duties of the WRT Engine Builder and Technician will include:
- Oversee the assembly of internal combustion engines.
- Assemble and test engine systems for performance and compliance.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on internal combustion engines.
- Diagnose engine breakdowns, identify failures, and carry out necessary repairs.
- Document and report on maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures.
- Utilise diagnostic tools and specialised software to analyse engine data and fault codes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engine maintenance and repair processes.
The WRT Engine Builder and Technician should have the following desired skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of internal combustion engines.
- Expertise in performing repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and resolve engine performance issues.
- Effective communication skills for identifying and resolving engine-related problems with customers.
