A leading food manufacturer in the UK is seeking a Fit Out Operative to work in Baston, near Peterborough. In this role, you will assemble tank components, transport goods, and maintain product flow within manufacturing. Candidates should have a forklift licence and be physically fit, reliable, and able to follow instructions. This full-time position offers a pay rate of £13.25 per hour, with Monday to Friday hours, from 7 am to 4 pm.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit tank outlets and lids as directed.
• Transport goods to maintain product flow in manufacturing.
• Follow engineering drawings for tank component fitting.
• Use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Complete training as required by the business.
• Conduct basic quality checks and testing.
• Adhere to safety procedures and policies at all times.
• Work under Supervisor guidance to complete tasks.
