The duties of the WRT Engine Builder and Technician will include:

  • Oversee the assembly of internal combustion engines.
  • Assemble and test engine systems for performance and compliance.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on internal combustion engines.
  • Diagnose engine breakdowns, identify failures, and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Document and report on maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Utilise diagnostic tools and specialised software to analyse engine data and fault codes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engine maintenance and repair processes.

The WRT Engine Builder and Technician should have the following desired skills:
