As our new Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of a small but dynamic, global team. • Mechanical delivery on high rise and/or complex projects.
• Undertake and oversee design work from concept through to detailed design ensuring technical excellence, always maintaining outstanding levels of client service
• Complete and present designs in a highly visual and graphical style.
• Act in the capacity of Lead Mechanical Designer, to co-ordinate the tasks to ensure all deadlines and priorities are met.
• Act in a supportive and be a positive influential for junior staff across offices and project workstreams.
• React quickly to client and architectural requirements for plant space, riser requirements and energy strategy.
• Be involved in competitions where innovative thinking is required.
• Have a working site knowledge and understanding of Builders Work implications.
• Have a working design and installation experience in public health design.
• Have a sustainable mindset to develop and embed sustainable principals within our designs.

• Become an integral part of the high rise spreadhead team taking responsibility for mechanical design of projects.
• Ensuring technical quality in mechanical design output.
• Help deliver projects profitably and to the satisfaction of our clients

• To be a qualified Engineer with 6-10 years’ experience having a proven and demonstrable track record for your core discipline and a working knowledge of complimentary disciplines
• Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline
• To hold a CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree
• To be a Chartered Engineer or be working towards IEng or CEng status.
• To have an appreciation of commercial and technical risks and to act appropriately upon them.
• To have aninterest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools. We seek engineers that fit with our culture and have experience working digitally.
• Expertise in Revit is essential, with skills in Rhino and Grasshopper preferred.
• Experience in applying mechanical design principals to computational methods.
• The right candidate will have a portfolio which demonstrates creative thinking,flairand broad range of technical skills. Illustrating the ability to produce complex engineering designs and manage complex geometries.
• Ableto present engineering concepts to a high standard ofvisual andgraphic design
• Excellent spoken and written Englishforwriting documents and the ability to beclient facingforpresentationsand design workshops.
• Be prepared for international project work.

• You demonstrate first rate attention to detail and show pride in the work you produce
• You can motivate and inspire confidence both in your peers and clients

• You able to work autonomously on all technical aspects of their discipline and to be able to direct more junior engineers across all disciplines
