A leading engineering services provider in the UK is seeking engineers to install and maintain commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers. Candidates should have expertise in mechanical pipework and a background in working with gas and oil systems. The role requires flexible on-call capabilities and includes assisting with modifications to existing pipework. Ideal qualifications include commercial gas safety certification and driving license.
Qualificações
- Experience with commercial mechanical pipework.
- Knowledge of boiler rooms and systems.
- Experience with air-cooled chillers.
Responsabilidades
- Install, service and maintain commercial temporary boilers.
- Assist with modifying existing pipework.
- Be on call for emergency situations.
Conhecimentos
Formação académica
We are currently looking for engineers with a background, experience and knowledge in the following:
- Commercial mechanical pipework
- Boiler rooms and systems
- Commercial boilers (forced draft burners)
- Working with natural gas and oil
- Chilled water systems and AHUs
- Air-cooled Chillers and fault-finding experience
- Understanding of electrical services and control wiring
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications but this is not essential:
- Commercial Gas Safe
- F-Gas Refrigeration certificate
- Full driving license
The successful candidate will provide installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers. They will also be required to assist with modifying existing pipework within old plant rooms.
- Flexible and on call when required, i.e. you may be required to attend an emergency outside of usual working hours
- Clean driving license
- Successful candidates will be DBS checked, as some sites require this
- Boiler Management System (BMS) experience would be preferred
