Job summary
A British engineering business in Bury St Edmunds seeks a Design Engineer with SolidWorks experience. You will have full project ownership and will design bespoke engineered equipment, working directly with the workshop and production teams. This role offers the chance to bring your designs to life in a stable company that values practical engineering solutions. Expect challenges and genuine variety in projects. Excellent compensation of GBP40,000 to GBP45,000 plus benefits is provided.
Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks to create manufacturable designs.

Responsibilities
- Design full systems including special purpose machinery and bespoke engineered equipment.
- Work collaboratively with workshop, electrical, and production teams.
