A prominent educational institution located at Peterborough College seeks a dedicated Lecturer in Sport. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching across sport courses and creating engaging learning experiences. Candidates should possess a Level 5 teaching qualification or a commitment to work towards one, as well as relevant qualifications in sport. This permanent position offers a competitive salary and generous benefits, working within a collaborative team focused on empowering the next generation of learners.
Salary: £28,582 – £36,084 per annum (pro rata where required)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, all year round

Are you passionate about sport and education? Do you have the drive to inspire and empower the next generation of learners? Peterborough College is looking for a dynamic Lecturer in Sport to join our Leisure & Service Industries Faculty.
As a Lecturer in Sport, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching and assessment across a range of sport courses (Levels 1 to 3, and possibly higher). You’ll create engaging learning experiences that motivate students to achieve their best, contribute to course development, and support learners on their journey to success. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate courses, undertake internal verification, and build strong industry links through work placements.
