A prominent construction company in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Buyer to support major mechanical and electrical projects. The ideal candidate should have over 2 years of experience in procurement, looking to advance their career within a large contractor. Responsibilities include managing procurement requirements and overseeing the tender process for subcontract packages.
Qualifications
- 2+ years procurement experience in mechanical and electrical.
- Current role as a Buyer or Senior Buyer is preferable.
- Experience with M&E materials or subcontracts.

A Top 20 Main Contractor is looking to recruit a Senior Buyer to join their office in Birmingham. The main objective of the role is to help deliver major M&E projects across the UK.

Been the main point of contact for major materials packages. Assist with low level subcontract packages as well.
Our client is looking for candidates with 2+ years procurement mechanical and electrical experience. You will currently be working as a Buyer looking for a step up, or Senior Buyer wanting a career move to large M&E contractor. Ideally you will have strong M&E materials and / or subcontracts from any project environment, however the client will consider good material procurement candidates from any contractor in the built environment.
