The Manufacturing Services Technician - Mechatronics is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on manufacturing assets and all associated production equipment located in production or assembly & test facilities.

The site is divided into two facilities, Washington Manufacturing Facility making discs at a high volume for Trent engines and the Fleet Support Facility, a dedicated building designed for work on discs for specific civil and defence aero engines such as the Trent 1000, Trent XWB and other projects. The site has had significant investment in technology and automation of processes which has enabled significant productivity improvements over traditional methods of manufacture. The success of the site is built on our flexible approach across the campus to meet the customer’s needs. Manufacturing services are at the forefront of machine tool maintenance across the campus and are regarded as the first responders for all breakdowns to enable the campus to achieve maximum uptime.

This role requires shift work of 12-hour shifts, you will be expected to work 5 day shift patterns both day and nights, with potential for weekend work.
