Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for new product innovation? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking manufacturer leading the way in powered and battery-powered equipment development. You’ll play a key role in shaping next‑technologies and supporting full lifecycle product delivery — from concept through to launch.

The Role
  • Lead the technical development of powered and battery-powered systems, ensuring robust, compliant, and scalable product solutions.

  • Work closely with design, innovation, and production teams to test prototypes, validate performance, and support manufacturing readiness.

  • Provide specialist input into electrical design, battery integration, and product testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Support customer trials, produce technical documentation, and contribute to continuous product improvement.

  • Act as a technical mentor and collaborate across teams to drive best practice and innovation.

About You
  • Degree or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).

  • Strong experience (5 years) in electrical/electronic product development and manufacturing.

  • Proven track record taking products from concept to production.

  • Knowledge of Li‑Ion battery systems (highly advantageous).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑facing skills.

  • A proactive, self‑starting approach with great attention to detail.
