CNC Miller Set/Op/Pro — Willenhall. Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 12:30pm Friday. Salary: ?36,000 to ?40,000 - negotiable dependent upon experience. Overtime available @ time and a third.
The client is a family run CAD/CAM tooling solutions company with a heritage spanning nearly 100 years. The candidate will join a long-serving team dedicated to providing a first-class service to customers.
- Program, set and machine a wide variety of tooling in materials such as tooling boards, Spider-Man head models, aluminium moulds and tools, cast-iron patterns and coreboxes.
- Be responsible for own Autodesk Powermill workstation.
- Operate Vericut software to verify toolpaths prior to running.
- Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on all tooling.
- Develop CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret project blueprints.
- A real team player with pride in their work and a desire for success.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Industry-relevant qualification is desirable.
- Ability to work to required standards and be adaptable, willing to go the extra mile to meet tight deadlines.
