Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to diverse secondary learners.
• Support student progress through creative and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Provide academic mentoring and help learners set and achieve individual goals.
• Assess, track, and report on learner progress in line with college standards.
• Contribute to the wider college community by maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and create an inclusive learning environment.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. CertEd, or equivalent) is essential.
• Proven teaching experience in further educational settings.
• A learner-centred approach with the ability to differentiate for a diverse cohort.
• Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments and assessment frameworks.
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL).
