Job description

A local authority shared service based in London is seeking an Adult & Education Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

The successful Adult & Education Lawyer will be required to have experience in the following areas:

  • Education, Health & Care Plans for SEN children
  • SENDIST Tribunal expertise
  • Advising on funded special school transport matters
  • Experience with DOLs and Court of Protection for Adults

This is a mixed caseload and therefore you will need to provide advice in both areas.

The role is paying between £40-55 per hour DOE.

You must have a current practising certificate to be considered for the role. Previous local government experience would be highly advantageous.
