LTF Recruitment are searching for nurturing, caring and patient SEN Teaching assistant working with one of our partner mainstream primary schools in Potters Green, Coventry.
The role is a 1:1 role based with a year four child who has been diagnosed with ASD and is based within the classroom and specialist well equipped resource hub within the school. You will be working alongside a supportive team of Teaching assistants and class teacher. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position at the school.
- Level 2/3 supporting teaching and learning in schools or relevant qualification required.
- Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
- Have experience of supporting SEN (ASD, Speech, Language & Communication needs)
- A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
- Knowledge of maintaining and updating and reviewing progress of EHCPS
- Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
