A healthcare provider in Norwich is seeking a Senior Triage Therapist to lead the community therapy team. You will be responsible for triaging referrals and delivering high-quality therapy interventions. Ideal candidates will have a relevant diploma or degree, HCPC registration, and experience in triaging. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a variety of tasks in a supportive team environment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Norwich Place Community Therapy Team. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Triage Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to join us in providing high quality therapy services.
The service is operational during the following hours -Monday to Friday 0900-1700 .
This is a new role for the team and if you thrive on variety in the working day, enjoy multi-tasking, developing a service and also being part of a supportive team, then this role is for you.
You will primarily use your clinical skills, knowledge and communication skills to lead the team of Therapy triagers in Norwich to provide a high quality triage service. You will also complete the triage of referrals for patients in their own residences.
For clinical visits, you will lead in the delivery of high standards of therapy interventions to patients within their own place of residence to prevent avoidable admissions and provide advice and support to enable patients to live in their own homes for as long as possible.
Triage will be the main priority at first, with the opportunity to complete clinical visits in time.
Ideally you will be familiar with these clinical databases; Systmone, TCES, Liquid Logic though training will be provided.
As a senior therapist it is essential that you can prioritise your own workload, possess effective communication skills, work as part of a team, and use own initiative.
The Norwich Community Therapy Team consists of a Clinical Lead OT, Clinical Lead Physio, Community OTs and Physios and Community Assistant Practitioners and Therapy assistants. We are supported by our Social care OT colleagues and managed by a service Lead for Therapy across Health and Social care.
Successful applicants will be supported within the team and receive regular supervision opportunities with a Clinical Lead Therapist.
