ASD Teaching Assistant

• Location- Potters Green, Coventry, CV2
• Weekly Rate- 460- 500
• Start Date- ASAP
• Hours- Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
• Contract- Long Term to Permanent

LTF Recruitment are searching for nurturing, caring and patient SEN Teaching assistant working with one of our partner mainstream primary schools in Potters Green, Coventry.

The role is a 1:1 role based with a year four child who has been diagnosed with ASD and is based within the classroom and specialist well equipped resource hub within the school. You will be working alongside a supportive team of Teaching assistants and class teacher. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position at the school.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Level 2/3 supporting teaching and learning in schools or relevant qualification required.
• Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
• Have experience of supporting SEN (ASD, Speech, Language & Communication needs)
• A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
• Knowledge of maintaining and updating and reviewing progress of EHCPS
• Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
