Job summary
A leading data consultancy is seeking a Data Strategy & Governance Lead for a key client engagement. The role involves delivering structured data maturity assessments, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and producing insightful recommendations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with data governance frameworks, strategic consultancy, and the ability to facilitate discovery workshops. This is a 5-week remote contract with compensation up to £650 Inside IR35, starting in January.

An industry-leading data consultancy is seeking an experienced Data Strategy & Governance Lead to deliver a structured, insight-driven data maturity engagement for a key client. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction, leading discovery, and producing high-quality, evidence-based outputs that guide long-term data maturity improvement.
As the Data Strategy & Governance Lead, you will take accountability for delivering the end‑to‑end assessment—ensuring stakeholder alignment, methodological rigour, and clear, compelling storytelling that translates complex insights into actionable recommendations.
- Data governance frameworks & data maturity models (incl. public sector best practice)
- Strategic consultancy & leading complex data-focused engagements
- Facilitating discovery workshops across diverse stakeholder groups
- Analysis & synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data
- Power BI for visual storytelling and dashboard development
- Producing high-quality written reports and clear Now / Next / Later recommendations
- £650.00 Inside IR35
