Totu is working with a leading law firm to recruit three highly experienced Billing Assistants on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role’s support high‑volume billing team of 24 during a period of peak demand, allowing the existing team to focus on a query resolution project.

• Take ownership of high‑volume billing across multiple service lines and clients, ensuring timely and accurate submission within SLAs.
• Maintain and update matter data for correct billing and compliance.
• Prepare detailed Excel border‑eaux, bill schedules, and supporting documentation.
• liaise with Partners and Lawyer to resolve billing queries professionally and efficiently.
• Review and update billing guides to prevent errors, ensuring compliance with VAT rules and templates.
• Support colleagues and contribute to team success by sharing best practices.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members as required.

• Highly experienced legal biller with a track record in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to “right‑first‑time” billing.
• Professional, self‑motivated, and able to perform under pressure.
• Confident in liaising with senior stakeholders.
• Experienced with Elite 3E, Paperless, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

• E‑billing experience.
• Draft billing within 3E.
• Experience providing training to junior team members.
