Production Maintenance Technicians
Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking Mechanically biased Production Maintenance Technicians to join the Maintenance team in Wrexham. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery, completing preventative maintenance, and collaborating with colleagues. Candidates should have a Certificate of Craftsmanship, knowledge in hydraulic systems, and a minimum of BTEC ONC level in Mechanical Engineering. We have a number of opportunities for Mechanically biased Production Maintenance Technicians to join the Maintenance team in Wrexham.
- Diagnosing, fault finding and repair of Medium/Heavy industrial plant and machinery.
- Completing preventative maintenance checks and inspections.
- Developing and implementing modifications to improve reliability of plant and machinery.
- Working as a team with manufacturing and maintenance colleagues.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Working to a continuous shift pattern with necessary overtime to cover holidays.
- Adherence to Health & Safety with absolute priority.
- Lifting and handling plant and machinery components using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Time served with EITB/equivalent Certificate of Craftsmanship.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic.
- Welding and brazing.
- Rigging of unbalanced loads.
- Risk assessment and safety awareness, guarding of machinery legislation.
- High pressure steam maintenance.
- MS Office or equivalent.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Minimum of BTEC ONC level in Mechanical Engineering.
Week One – 7:00am‑4:00pm Monday to Thursday then 7:00am‑1:30pm Friday.
Week Two – 1:30pm‑10pm Monday to Friday.
