The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK's largest trade unions.

A vacancy exists for a HR Administrator based at the Union's Head Office.

Provide administrative support within the HR function, including resolving general enquiries; maintain the Union's HR database and flexi system; process new starters and leavers; undertake duties related to recruitment and selection; and produce reports.

The successful applicant will possess:

1. Previous experience of a HR role
2. Effective communication skills
3. IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
4. Basic knowledge of HR systems and policies
5. Ability to plan and organise workload
6. Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality
