We’re looking for someone who has :
- 2‑3+ years of experience working in a web development agency or in‑house for a brand
- Experience developing Shopify themes
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript
- Ability to write well‑structured, semantic, and accessible HTML
- Confidence writing framework‑agnostic, performance‑focused JavaScript
- Awareness of WCAG accessibility guidelines
- Solid understanding of front‑end performance best practices
- Strong attention to detail when building polished, complex interactions
- A positive, problem‑solving mindset and broad technical curiosity
- Experience with modern web tooling (transpilers, linters, build and CI tools, etc.)
- Experience with Git and ability to collaborate in a dev team
- Awareness of modern and emerging browser APIs
- Familiarity with progressive enhancement principles
Not essential, but any of these would be a bonus :
- Experience with a front‑end / full‑stack framework like React or Remix
- Experience with a back‑end language, framework, or backend platform like Supabase
- Experience setting up or running A / B tests
- Experience building with a headless CMS
- Previous agency experience, delivering websites for multiple clients
- Deep knowledge in one or more areas such as animation, performance, or accessibility
