Head of SRE & Platform Engineering (Remote UK)
Job summary
A fast-growing Cybersecurity firm based in the UK is looking for a Lead SRE & Platform Engineer to drive platform reliability and performance. You will take ownership of the platform's evolution, shape its roadmap, and build a capable team around you. This role offers a clear progression to a Head of position as the function matures. You will be hands-on, influencing architecture, automating operations, and leading the transition to a modern Kubernetes and AWS-based environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Strong background in AWS deployments.
- Proven ability in operational excellence and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of reliability, performance, and platform direction.
- Set the roadmap and shape platform evolution.
- Lead the transition from legacy setup to modern infrastructure.
