I’m supporting a leading Microsoft Partner with the recruitment of a Principal D365 Customer Engagement Consultant to join their growing team. This is a fully remote UK role offering the chance to lead high-impact projects, shape solution strategy, and play a key role in driving best practice across the consultancy.

Role Overview

As a Principal Consultant, you will lead end-to-end D365 CE implementations, guide clients through digital transformation programmes, and provide technical and functional leadership across the practice. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and client stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of Dynamics 365 CE solutions
  • Advise clients on best practice, capability optimisation, and solution strategy
  • Own solution architecture discussions alongside senior technical leads
  • Conduct workshops, requirements gathering, and process mapping
  • Oversee delivery quality and mentor junior consultants across the team
  • Support pre‑sales activities, including demonstrations and solution scoping
  • Ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with Power Platform and wider Microsoft stack
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong long‑term relationships
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience delivering complex D365 CE / CRM implementations within a consultancy or partner environment
  • Strong functional knowledge across Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Power Platform
  • Ability to lead workshops, influence stakeholders, and own solution design decisions
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client‑facing skills
  • Experience working in an Agile project setting
  • Microsoft certifications preferred but not essential
  • Based in the UK with full remote working rights
