A leading engineering firm in the UK seeks an experienced HV SAP professional to shape a portfolio and stay hands-on with HV systems. This role involves fault response, equipment testing, and supporting teams on-site. Candidates should have HV experience from 33kV to 415V, knowledge of regulatory standards, and a full UK driving licence for nationwide travel. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in real problem-solving rather than just reactive maintenance, with a focus on improving how things are run.
There's a difference between being Authorised and being listened to. In this role, you'll have both.
Our client gets it. They’re looking for someone to help shape a portfolio - A HV SAP who wants to stay sharp by staying hands-on — someone who knows their way around switchgear, transformers and protection testing, and doesn’t need to be told twice about electrical safety.
This isn’t about ticking maintenance boxes and walking away. You’ll be involved in everything from fault response and equipment testing to helping commission new sites and supporting site teams on what’s working — and what isn’t.
You'll report into a HV Manager who is building a small team to bring HV work in house.
The sites are spread across the UK, so there’s regular travel, and you’ll need a full UK driving licence. The company head office is in the North West of Engand, but your role will be remonte.
