Job summary

A leading tech firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Android Architect / Lead Engineer for a contract position lasting three months. You'll review the existing Android app and platform, recommending changes for new architecture and frameworks. This role requires expertise in Android development using Kotlin/Java, along with strong stakeholder management skills. Applicants must be UK-based with immediate availability for this role. The position offers around £500 per day, outside IR35.

Job description

Role : Android Architect / Lead Engineer

Contract Length : 3 months initially

Start date : Early Jan, must be available immediately or with a 1-2 week notice period

Rate : around £500 per day - outside IR35

Location : Remote (you must be UK based with the right to work in the UK in place, we cannot work with offshore, or umbrella companies sponsoring visas)

TrueNorth are working with a large financial organisation who are looking for an Android Architect / Lead Engineer on a contract basis.

You will be working with the Principal Mobile Architect and Lead on an exercise to review the organisations current Android app and platform, with a view to recommending changes for new architecture, frameworks, languages for the next iteration.
