A dynamic technology company in the UK is seeking a Front-End Lead to own the front-end strategy and architecture of their data-heavy platform. You will manage a large React and TypeScript application, lead architectural improvements, and mentor engineers to ensure high-quality delivery. This role offers genuine ownership and a collaborative environment with technical leadership. Candidates should have strong experience with React, TypeScript, and a proven track record in front-end system leadership.

They’re hiring a Front-End Lead to take ownership of front-end strategy, architecture, and engineering standards, working closely with the CTO and senior engineers.
- Own and evolve a large React / TypeScript application
- Lead architectural improvements (modular / micro-frontend approaches)
- Drive performance improvements in complex, data-rich UIs
- Build scalable component systems and shared UI patterns
- Set best practices around testing, observability, and delivery
- Mentor engineers and raise the bar for front-end quality
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience leading front-end systems or teams
- Proven ability to improve architecture, performance, and DX
- Comfortable balancing technical excellence with pragmatic delivery
- Genuine ownership over front-end direction
