(Remote) Platform Engineering Manager
Job summary
A leading technology company is seeking a Remote Platform Engineering Manager to drive the platform strategy and manage engineering teams. You will mentor engineers, own the engineering roadmap, and collaborate with data leadership to build a cutting-edge data platform. The ideal candidate has proven experience in a growth-stage SaaS environment and hands-on cloud platform skills. A remote-first setting offers flexibility and the chance to shape a transformative technology solution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a growth-stage SaaS company.
- Solid background in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor approximately 10 engineers across two key teams.
- Take ownership of the platform engineering roadmap focused on infrastructure management.
- Partner closely with the Head of Data to define and build a long-term data platform strategy.

- Partner closely with the Head of Data to define and build the long‑term data platform strategy .
- Thrive in a fast‑paced environment, expertly juggling a high volume of parallel requests and initiatives to keep pace with business ambition.
- A proven Engineering Manager experience in a growth‑stage or mature SaaS company.
- A solid background in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering is ideal. A Product Engineering Manager with a strong infrastructure affinity will also be considered.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms ( AWS is a plus ).
- A leader who has thrived in a transition‑phase company —you know how to build and scale systems and teams, not just maintain them.
