Lead Java Engineer – Platform Integration & Kubernetes
Job summary
A staffing firm is seeking a Lead Java Engineer in Telford. This contract role requires expertise in Java, Spring, and Kubernetes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with architects and QA leads to produce low-level designs and lead the development teams in creating and delivering services. The position offers £677 per day, with two days a week onsite. Ideal candidates should be adept at tackling technical challenges and leading teams effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in Java and Spring frameworks.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Ability to lead development teams technically.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Architects and QA Leads to design services.
- Create low-level designs based on architectural guidelines.
- Lead the development and delivery of services post-design phase.
- Adopt shared components and ensure alignment with engineering principles.
