Responsibilities
Advise a broad range of clients on a variety of compliance and advisory tax matters.
Actively participate in client meetings, answering queries concisely and confidently.
Earn client trust and respect by producing high‑quality tax advice accurately and meeting expectations and deadlines.
Lead client work and engage with wider tax teams to ensure correct skill utilisation on all projects.
Takes responsibility for developing junior team members, understanding their career aspirations and supporting their delivery.
Provide intelligent and creative solutions to client tax issues, both reactively and proactively, and cross‑sell wider solutions across the GT network.
Lead on pitch and proposal development, growing the business by demonstrating our capabilities to prospects and clients.
Qualifications
Professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience.
Confidence in managing a portfolio of entrepreneurial business clients.
Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and a working knowledge of international concepts.
Experience reviewing work and supervising staff in a tax environment.
Experience working within a professional services environment.
Experience managing a large portfolio of tax clients.
Demonstrable business development experience.
