Responsibilities

• Advise a broad range of clients on a variety of compliance and advisory tax matters.
• Actively participate in client meetings, answering queries concisely and confidently.
• Earn client trust and respect by producing high‑quality tax advice accurately and meeting expectations and deadlines.
• Lead client work and engage with wider tax teams to ensure correct skill utilisation on all projects.
• Takes responsibility for developing junior team members, understanding their career aspirations and supporting their delivery.
• Provide intelligent and creative solutions to client tax issues, both reactively and proactively, and cross‑sell wider solutions across the GT network.
• Lead on pitch and proposal development, growing the business by demonstrating our capabilities to prospects and clients.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience.
• Confidence in managing a portfolio of entrepreneurial business clients.
• Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and a working knowledge of international concepts.
• Experience reviewing work and supervising staff in a tax environment.
• Experience working within a professional services environment.
• Experience managing a large portfolio of tax clients.
• Demonstrable business development experience.
• Eagerness to develop deep knowledge of the firm’s services and capabilities.
