Responsibilities include:
Support the drive towards a collaborative and integrated approach to delivering digital innovation and breaking down traditional silo thinking in terms of analysis, change, programme, and project disciplines.
Contributing to agreed Council-wide digital projects and programmes to deliver the Council’s digital agenda and as well as delivering their own agreed power platforms project(s). Support a wide range of power platform users (data scientists, user experience teams, business analysts, architects) to maximize its use in the Council.
Working closely with the Senior Digital Change and Innovation Officer and Digital Change and Innovation Lead on work prioritisation against the service’s agreed digital agenda.
Developing solutions using power platforms and power automate to solve business problems and support the council’s transformation, ensuring solutions are practical, cost effective and provide repeatable capability that can be reused.
Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define and communicate technical solutions. Facilitate the identification of workflow issues and the development and automation of processes to achieve business benefits, using the power platforms capability where appropriate.
Contributing to ‘horizon scanning’ for new leading-edge technologies, keeping abreast of opportunities to introduce new digital capabilities alongside colleagues in the wider business and digital commissioning teams.
The ideal candidate will have a degree level qualification in Computer Science or equivalent experience and a MS Power Platform accredited certification. Significant experience is required of analysing data, building apps, automating processes, and creating virtual agents in MS power platforms.
