A global insurance company is seeking a Head of Retail Pricing to lead its new retail division. This role involves shaping pricing strategies, collaborating directly with executive leadership, and building a high-performing team from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines pricing and experience with MGAs. This position allows for hybrid working with flexibility.
Qualifications
- Proven record in pricing strategies for non-standard Home, Pet, Equine, Motor, and SME.
- Experience in building and leading teams in a pricing function.
- Ability to influence underwriting decisions and collaborate with executives.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage pricing across varied product lines.
- Collaborate with executive team to shape pricing strategies.
- Lead the selection of technology and build a strong pricing team.

Our client is building something bold — and we need a pricing leader to help shape it.
Global insurance business is launching a new retail division and is seeking an experienced pricing retail actuary who understands the MGA / broker channel market. You will drive strategy, build a team, and influence underwriting across the business.
- Own pricing across non-standard Home, Pet, Equine, Motor, and SME
- Collaborate directly with the CEO, Underwriting Manager, and Chief Actuary
- Help select the tech stack
- Hire and lead a team from day one
- Shape how the business grows to £300M+ in the next 3 years
You’ll be deeply embedded in both the technical and commercial sides of the business.
- Strong pricing background in personal lines / SME
- Experience with MGAs, broker channels or aggregator models
- Someone hands-on, strategic, and confident talking directly with execs & brokers
- A builder – not afraid to roll up their sleeves and grow something from day one
Hybrid working: 3 days in our London office but flexibility when needed.
