Senior Structural Engineer

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural engineering designs on a wide variety of commercial and large-scale residential projects. This role offers the scope to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors, while also mentoring and supporting junior engineers within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering solutions on a range of building projects.
• Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Manchester office.

About You

• Chartered or near Chartered with IStructE or ICE.
• Proven experience in structural design across commercial and large residential projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of design codes and industry standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
• Confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
