We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Psychologist at our Camden practice. In this role, you'll encounter daily challenges and rewarding moments, directly influencing the lives of individuals in the community. Your responsibilities will include supporting Foster Care services, clients funded under the NDIS, Home Care clients, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and external clients of Challenge Community Services.
In this position, you'll join a vibrant team with established referrals and cases awaiting your expertise. Your focus will be on providing clinical assessments, therapy, and community-based interventions. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home one day a week while contributing to our multidisciplinary approach. Your impact will span from early childhood to late adulthood, as we are dedicated to meeting client needs with excellence. You will collaborate closely with Foster Care services and NDIS-funded clients, as we are registered providers under NDIS and Medicare.
We're seeking a registered or eligible psychologist passionate about working with children, young people, or adults with disabilities and complex behavioral needs. You should be proactive, problem-solve effectively, and collaborate across services to achieve positive outcomes for clients and their families. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to express ideas clearly and logically, are essential.
Experience with assessments is highly desirable. You must possess a current NSW driver's license, COVID-19 vaccinations, and undergo necessary background checks. Experience in OOHC/ADHC/NDIS or similar fields, mental health, clinical supervision, or Medicare provider status would be advantageous. Familiarity with Family Systems Therapy and strong group facilitation or training skills are also valuable.
