Water Supply Pipe Engineer – HomeServe

The Role: As a Water Supply Pipe Engineer, you will undertake the maintenance and repair work of water supply systems in their customers' homes.

You will provide industry leading service and help the company enhance its reputation, whilst driving customer growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and identify leaks on water mains.
  • Assist with repairs associated with laying and identifying leaks on water mains and drainage services.
  • Reinstate excavations with different surface types (desirable).
  • Adhere to safe digging practices.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
  • Maintain physical fitness for manual work in all weather conditions.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong experience in water supply systems.
  • Excellent repairing and identifying leaks on water mains.
  • Experience with drainage services and reinstatement of excavations.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Excellent customer service skills and keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive ‘can‑do’ attitude.
  • Adaptable teamwork – able to work with different teammates daily.
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Base Salary: £29,200 – £36,700 (location dependent).
  • Guaranteed bonus: £1,500 per year.
  • 40 hours per week (some weekend, evening and bank holiday work).
  • Annualised hours available; Summer & Winter work.
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) with option to buy, sell or carry over up to a week.
