Job summary
A leading care provider in Atherstone is seeking a Residential Team Leader to ensure the well-being of children in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include planning team rotas, meeting Ofsted regulations, and creating a safe home for children. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, with a relevant level 3 qualification and six months' experience in children's residential care. Responsibilities
- Meeting the needs of children in line with Ofsted regulations.
- Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager.
- Creating a safe, family environment for the children.
Skills
Education
- 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years
- Working on a rota basis - you will receive a monthly rota
- This is a 365 day a year job, including Christmas, new year and all the fun holidays but it is even more fun when you celebrate with the children!
- The shifts consist of long hours and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in
- Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
- Planning team rotas to supporting the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments
- Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
- To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
- To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
- Welcome a diverse culture in the home
- Creating a safe, family environment for the children
- You MUST be 21 due to Ofsted regulations
- Driving is essential due to locations of the homes
- You must have at least six month's experience in Children's residential care and you must hold a relevant level 3 qualification
- Refer a friend payment scheme
- Enrolled on to a work place pension scheme after three months of employment

- Over time paid at x1.25
- Fully paid 10-day induction course
