Job summary
A local waste management company is seeking a Waste Collector to operate trade waste vehicles and ensure excellent service delivery. The role involves physical tasks, including walking long distances and lifting, while maintaining a flexible approach to work hours. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service experience and be able to work in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service.
- Physically able to walk long distances, bend, stoop, and lift.
Responsibilities
- Deliver waste collection on trade waste vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service during collection.
Skills
Waste Collector
£13.26 per Hour • 37 hours per week
3 months contract
An opportunity has arisen for a waste collector.
Duties will include waste collection on trade waste vehicles.
The working week is 5 days Monday to Friday.
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service
- Commitment to the delivery of an excellent service as well as improving the performance of the service
- Able to work with minimum of supervision and use own initiative
- Flexible approach to start and finish times, weekend working, and able to work from any location within the city
- Committed to promoting equalities and diversity policies of the council
- Able to work in all weather conditions
