This leadership role involves producing management accounts, statutory accounts, and driving financial performance to support long-term strategic goals. Ideal candidates should have a strong finance background, experience in the education sector, and excellent leadership skills. Qualificações
- Experience in a senior finance role, ideally as Financial Controller or equivalent.
- Experience in an Academy Trust or similar regulated sector is essential.
- Knowledge of ESFA/Academy Trust Handbook requirements.
Responsabilidades
- Lead the finance function for the Trust.
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Oversee preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance.
- Drive financial planning and long-term forecasting.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
- Partner with senior stakeholders for financial stewardship.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and processes.
- Lead on year-end processes and audits.
- Manage cash flow and risk management.
- Support the Trust’s strategic and operational objectives.
