Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant

*** 1:1 and small group intervention support

The Role
As a Primary Graduate TA, you’ll work across the classroom to deliver targeted intervention sessions and 1:1 support for pupils who need a boost in literacy, numeracy, or confidence. You’ll assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities, adapting materials for different learning styles, and helping to track pupil progress. You’ll also play a key role in promoting positive behaviour and classroom engagement.

The Candidate
You’re a graduate with strong communication skills, a flexible approach, and a genuine interest in education. You might be considering a future in teaching or educational psychology and want hands-on experience in a real classroom. Any previous work with children—whether tutoring, volunteering, or in schools—is a big plus. You’ll need to be patient, proactive, and able to build strong working relationships with pupils and staff.
