The School
Meadowbrook School, a specialist SEN primary in Harlow, is seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025. The Role
- Support pupils aged 4–11 with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and SEMH (social, emotional & mental health).
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, ensuring pupils can access the curriculum at their own pace.
- Work alongside teachers and therapists to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised strategies.
- Encourage children to develop communication, independence, and resilience both in the classroom and beyond.
- Contribute to a positive, therapeutic learning environment that values creativity, patience, and encouragement.

About You
- A 2:1 degree or higher – Psychology, Education, or related subjects particularly suited
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable, with a positive approach to challenges
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience with SEN (through schools, care, youth work, or volunteering) is advantageous but not essential
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
